Compassionate, board-certified addiction treatment for opioid, alcohol, and stimulant use disorders. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT), mindful recovery support, and a team that meets you where you are.
Addiction looks different for everyone. Dr. Chaabo starts by listening, without judgment, and builds a plan that fits your life, your history, and your goals.
Buprenorphine (Suboxone) and naltrexone-assisted treatment. Evidence-based care, monitored through CURES/PMP for your safety.
Naltrexone, acamprosate, and other proven options. Thoughtful care whether you're cutting back or stopping entirely.
Cocaine, methamphetamine, and other stimulant use. Behavioral strategies, medication where helpful, and long-term support.
Anxiety, depression, PTSD, and trauma often travel with addiction. Dr. Chaabo treats both — not one in isolation.
Dr. Hani Chaabo is board-certified in Addiction Medicine through the American Osteopathic Association, with triple board certification across Family Medicine and Integrative Medicine. He also holds specialty fellow certification training in Primary Care Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry at UC Irvine — so mental health and addiction get treated together, not apart.
Before Mindfulous, Dr. Chaabo spent years caring for patients in underserved communities — people on Medicaid, people dismissed by "traditional" clinics, people with stories other providers didn't have time to hear. That experience taught him the most important thing in addiction care: listen first, judge never.
Recovery is hard. It shouldn't be made harder by stigma, paperwork, or a doctor who doesn't get it. Mindfulous is built to be different.
Recovery isn't just about stopping a substance. It's about rebuilding a life. Dr. Chaabo brings both parts together.
Medications treat the brain. The rest treats the life. Both matter.
Every patient gets a personalized wellness plan — a written document that grows with you. It's shared between you, Dr. Chaabo, and our certified health coach Brandi Froede.
Coaching sessions help you put the plan into action — building routines, practicing skills, and tracking what works. The team walks with you, not at you.
"Experienced, treats you like a human, not a number. Dr. Chaabo is experienced, well-informed, and compassionate. I've recommended him to everyone I know."
